about us
Life is about finding your
sweet spot
A sweet story with Southern roots
Growing up in the South, Sheena learned early that food wasn’t just something you ate. It was how you connected, celebrated, and showed love. Every birthday, holiday, and weekend gathering centered around something sweet on the table.
What started as a passion for baking slowly grew into a full-on dessert experience. Today, Cover Me in Cakes brings that same Southern warmth to Northwest Arkansas through poppin’ dessert carts and our signature Cakes in a Can. Because every celebration, big or small, deserves a little sweetness.

Meet Chef Sheena
Sheena’s story is one of growth, balance, and finding her “sweet spot.” For years, she was known as the fried-food girl, the one who made rich, Southern comfort dishes that everyone adored. But as life shifted, so did her perspective on health, wellness, and what food really meant to her.
Her personal weight-loss journey opened a new chapter: one rooted in nourishment, sustainability, and a deeper understanding of how food fuels the body.
This led her to create The Eclectic Kitchen — a space where she shared clean-eating recipes, nutrition insights, and meal prep solutions that made healthy living feel accessible and joyful.
Cover Me in Cakes is her reminder that balance is beautiful. You can love your greens and your goodies. You can meal prep and still eat dessert. You can live healthy and still pop off at a party.
It’s all about finding the sweet spot.
When she’s not serving up sweet moments with Cover Me in Cakes, Sheena is in her Eclectic Kitchen — creating healthier meals, prepping weekly menus, and empowering families and organizations through nutrition education and budgeting classes.
From nonprofit workshops to group programs, she brings practical, real-life food skills to the table… all with her signature heart and creativity.
